it's notNot sure if 6.2 fuse count is the same as 6.1, if it is different and you burned your fuse you can't downgrade.
so if i restore my NAND using Hekate for 6.1.0 and use AutoRCM i can at least use my CFW again? You can load a lower firmware using RCM hacks but you can't downgrade. You will never be able to run an OFW below 6.2.0 ever again.
If you updated and burned your fuses then noso if i restore my NAND using Hekate for 6.1.0 and use AutoRCM i can at least use my CFW again?
Wrong. If you updated and burned your fuses then no
Is there any possible way to downgrade to 6.1 if I have the NAND for that firmware?
You can "downgrade" by simply restoring the NAND backup.
But you can't boot it without using a bootloader that skips the fuse check (i.e. you have to boot using Hekate/SX OS).
If i restore a NAND backup, is there anyway to preserve the installed NSP files? Im going to try and be the Hekate/AtmosphereNX downgrade geunie pig but i want to make sure there is a way to preserve everything i have installed to date.
BTW, everything was installed to my SD card and not the NAND itself. I would just like to be able to still launch a game after restore without having to redownload all the NSP files again.
Apparently, 6.2 burns an extra fuse.Would/should it be possible to restore the 5.1 NAND backup, then create the emunand from it, then somehow update the real nand back to 6.2 for my non CFW stuff?
or am I stuck waiting at this point?
So you can't use sleep mode when using CFW, until they crack 6.2if you have too many burned fuses, your sleep mode will be broken (this has its own fuse check).
Apparently, 6.2 burns an extra fuse.
You can restore your 5.1 backup, and boot that using a bootloader that ignores the fuse check i.e. Hekate/SX OS.
BUT:
So you can't use sleep mode when using CFW, until they crack 6.2
For anyone who is wondering and has questions... I am backing up my 6.2 switch right now. When thats done i will restore my 6.1 and post my results.
Will I keep my installed NSPs? Will it still boot with Hekate? Will sleep mode work (probably not)? I will post my results very soon.
