I'm not sure if it is possible (someone else has to try it who got some kind of entry point available, ie. OP should not try until it is confirmed as OP got no way to go back if it froze, etc): Install Cubic Ninja of same region in emuNAND using BBM/DevMenu then go back to menu, connect to internet (should have a working internet settings already (should show internet on top left), unwrap and launch the game, insert GW cart and scan AR to install and execute the exploit to go to GW menu. From there on try the usual steps to set up NVRAM and MSET, etc.

Issues with this:

1. How can I get the Cubic Ninja.cia on my system? Taking out my SD card crashes the system.
2. Don't think you can do the GW menu via .CIAs nor through the .3ds, just doen't work.
3. Even if it did, it would be running through EmuNand, which means that you would be doing all this stuff on your EmuNand, not SysNand...

But thanks for trying haha :P

I made a mistake in my previous post of inserting GW cart, you should NOT as it will automatically take you back to emuNAND and not show the GW menu (I have edited my previous post and fixed that)

You can use some sort of custom data management tool in CIA format if available (I have heard but not sure) you can find it on the iso site something. I think it sets up a ftp connection locally and so you can access files of your console micro sd card from your computer if it is connected to same network.

Does accessing the GateWay menu work from within GateWay mode?

nope your out of luck, the only method of setting up the CN/OOT free exploit is by having CN/OOT at least once to install it, and seeing as your in emunand rather than just sysnand GW mode, you cant install MSET to sysnand without rebooting and holding B when entering GW mode to go to sysnand rather than emunand

if you hadnt ever set up emunand, you would of been able to install the 4.x MSET and bluecard fix to sysnand without a reboot

it wont work, no matter what he would need a retail CN/oot to boot back into the GW menu, you cant boot up GW from GW mode.

Just a tip to prevent this from happening in the future:
Buy some sort of holding case for your 3DS games, and make sure you put them back in the case when you take them out of your 3DS.
I have two like this, which are for DS games, but you can stick your 3DS games in if you try hard enough.

That's about all I can say about this, though.

I.. err.. I had a case XD All it had in it was CN, and a Micro SD > SD converter... the case was only the size of 3 games though, so it was tiny and easy to loose. I will look into getting a bigger case though ^.^

If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction

You either need to be intubated to bypass obstruction or create a stoma inferior to the the area of obstruction to survive
