Gaming Anyone who still use Activation Disk?

Just wondering, it's been a long time since I played my 360 but I'm starting to play it again. Anyway, my 360 is flashed with iXtreme 1.6 so I use Activation disk to play games that are Wave 4/6 above. To those multiple disk games like Castlevania:LoS, Mass Effect 2. Is the activation disk still working on that way?

I remember reading about Mass Effect, when it asks for disc 2, pop in activate. It will read and tell you it's not disc 2 and to insert disc two. You then insert disc 2.

However I never tried it myself.
