I 've used a few imation DVD-R 8X (burned at 8X on a Pioneer 109 with Nero) and have had no problems so far.

Makes me laugh, Imation is actually a very good make, ive been using their CD-Rs, DVD-R, DVD+R, etc for years now, dont remember ever making a bad disk. Imation DVD-R is actually made by:

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Unique Disc Identifier : [DVD-R:FUJIFILM03]
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Disc & Book Type : [DVD-R] - [DVD-R]
    Manufacturer Name : [Fuji Film]
    Manufacturer ID : [FUJIFILM03]
    Blank Disc Capacity : [2,298,496 Sectors = 4.71 GB (4.38 GiB)]
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    [ DVD Identifier V5.0.1 - http://DVD.Identifier.CDfreaks.com ]
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fuji is a good company, and trust me Imation are good!

Dont give Sony any money for overpriced goods :-) Also applies to PS3. LOL

I've burned about 5 games with Imation and they all work great . I've switched to some other brand but I think I may go back to Imation. Remember it depends on what works best with your burner. I have an old IBM model that I need to upgrade.
