Why wasn't that implemented into MK7?
Why did MK7 have no private place for friends to race?

Mario Tennis Open isn't the only game, where Online has been done, the lazy way.
I mean, these 2 are currently the only Online Mario's for Nintendo 3DS, and both lack lots of Online features.

Yeah for the new generation, it really lacks lots of online features and support but really the fact that games don't have DLC!!(except for some games in Japan)
I really hope WiiU won't lack it like 3ds and then later get the features and so on very slowly..

I'm guessing because a fast paced tennis game where timing is everything is more affected by lag than in mario kart where it doesn't matter if the connection is a little slow. It might not work very well if someone's trying to verse someone else from the other side of the world... It's still very dodgy that they locked it though.

Really?
Explain how 'slow' Mario Kart 7 is.
Besides, the whole PAL Region can play with each other, and this includes: European Union, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Russia, Turkey, South-Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.
Especially since Australia is at the other side of the world for me, wouldn't that make it even more complicated?
