So for those that have activated the license online from their switch - did you use default internet settings for connection to the internet or the DNS settings specific for switchbru and the homebrew appstore?

@Indominusda1e for research purposes: notice when you went online, how long, what you played exactly, what dump you used, and if you will be banned notice when you was banned. So we can use this "data" to find out how nintendo reacts to all this.

you dont need flight mode you can just disconnect wifi lel

Has anyone updated backup games yet while In SX?

That's the only thing I'm really curious about.
If that's not possible we would need update dumps for everything as well.

I don't care about being banned, so will gladly experiment by trying to go online with a BBB dump.

If that's true and you really don't care about being banned do us all a favour and just try to update a backup instead of playing with a backup online (which I can tell you would get you instantly banned).

I updated a backup, MK8... didn't play any online matches though and put airplane mode back on as soon as the update finished. I couldn't start the game without it.

Sorry, just to clarify, you have been into eShop while you are booted into SX CFW?

From what is now understand from that Reddit post, if you try to play a public backup online (a BBB release) which has no header/cert info as they were cleaned by BBB, you will be insta banned.
And if you use a header from a different game that you own and put it on a public backup, then you will get insta banned if you go online with it too as the headers are game specific.
At least that what I took from the sciresm post.

No, you will not be 'insta banned', we just know that Nintendo is able to detect it, we have yet to see them actually ban someone for it.

When you turn flight mode on, there are separate toggles below that to re-enable bluetooth for the joycons. Just turn that back on and you're all set.

The cert includes informations about the game, so you could only insert certs of the game you are playing.
So injecting a EU splatoon cert in EU splatoon is possible, but injecting a splatoon cert in arms is detectable by Nintendo.

You can enable joycons/bluetooth in flight mode in settings.

I wonder if there would be a way to spoof the Game Titles in the Certs.

The certs should be signed by nintendo, so it should become invalid after changing it, but I'm not 100% sure about this.
