Anyone Notice This W/ GBA Games

some games, such as golden sun - the lost age, have a popping noise when you first boot the game up. not all games are this way (think it might be the speakers initializing), but it's present on roms and even the actual cartridge. I first noticed it on the virtual console of the 3ds.

It is the same on the original Gameboy. Maybe it is about buffer memory initialisation.

DS Lites do this with the GBA games. Was wondering if I needed to replace caps or something but it seems to be normal.

yeah, it seems to do this on the ds lite and the 3ds too. I thought it was the vc inject at first, but when the actual cart made that same noise on the ds lite, it got me wondering. I even checked an emulator with the same rip (my personal one) and one that I found online. it was present in both of them as well.
