Gaming Anyone loving Etrian Odyssey 2 as much as me?

I realize it takes a certain person to love this game.
It's a hard game .. no, a very hard game.
It's a game where you have to grind. It's a game where you have to explore.
For some reason, this game is very addicting.

I'm loving it so far! Anyone else playing it the past few days?

My guild: DHA ( it's my clan )
Main party :
K2 - Protector
Red - Landshrekt
Dark - War Magus
Schmitty - Gunner
Kayotix - Alchemist

All are level 11 right now, and I'm on the 4th floor of the 1st strata

I just started the first one and also try the second. I'll try to finish the first. It is so difficult and quite addicting.

f***ing guard kicked me out of the starting area in the beginning and sent me far away in the forest...
and monsters in my 3rd fight just killed me

My party is a Landshark, Ronin, War Magus up front, then I got a Gunner and a Hexer on the back row.

The Hexer and the War Magus complement each other every well, I suggest getting those two.

I'm on the 25th floor of the first one, and I fully expect the final boss to completely rape me when I fight him.

I really need someone to guide me through the first floor of the first game, after that I should be good to go.... But yeah, I haven't got 2 yet. I always get mauled against Moths or something, and when I die against Moths, I know I have no dignity.

Just to make this clear, I hated the first game. I tried it and I died.
Luckily, the 2nd game's story has nothing to do with the first.
And I love the 2nd.

It's up to you really.
I wasn't satisfied with my beginning party either, and I was level 7.
I retired my whole party, and started again from level 1.
It was a pain releveling, but it was entirely worth it. Now they are all at level 12 and I am much more satisfied with my current party.
