I mean the filesize is huge. It's 130 MB. Osu! was only 65 MB. What the hell happened?
Maybe it's to do with cramming in all the AWESOME.... and the songs.
I believe there are more songs and they are encoded at a higher bitrate so they sound nicer. Aside from that, you can see that each different song has a different dance routine for the agents. IF you remember from the original Ouendan, the cheerleaders did the same moves every time. You can see there's more movement in the game comics too.
It ate all its vegetables.
To bad all new games aren’t this size, if the manufactures worked on better graphics,
pollys & animation. Plus better sound/ music & bigger better level design. With the
DS market getting so big, so fast, games will have to push the limits of the DS to get
peoples attention. And storage space s cheep anyway.
Because there are about 19 almost full sized songs on there that have special dance moves for the cheerleaders. It has about twice as many songs as Ouendan.
Reasons the game is so big:
*It has 4 more songs that Ouendan
*It has many more voice/sound samples
*It has a lot more polished and varied/unique animations to all the levels (e.g, YMCA dance)
*There are many more modes in the game
*You can save replays to every level you play
*You can send the demo of the game to people
*It has MORE THAN DOUBLE the amount of stories than Ouendan has, once you've completed all single-player mode, try multiplayer for all new stories to the songs in the game
This game is one of the most polished DS releases in quite a while, with excellent longevity.
Half of 19 is 15? Wow, I thought I was bad at math.
many more modes? i thought it had the same as ouendan
ouendan could send the demo of the game to people too
now tell me, does EBA have a cheerleader difficulty lol
Yup, the equivalent of that is the Elite Beat Diva's, and its harder than Ouendan :-P
Have you played Multiplayer Ouendan? All the levels on Ouendan in Multiplayer are just the same as single player. It' nothing like EBA...
*puts on tinfoil hat*
The reason Elite Beat Agents (U) so big is because the M3 and SuperCard teams funded the R&D for the game. Not only that, but they also helped bankroll the final product into development. By slowly implementing larger and larger game dumps, they’ll not only corner the market on new flash cart sales, but also bury any competitor trying to sell a card with only 512mb (or less).
Brilliant marketing if you ask me.
Yeah I forgot >_< No need to be a dick
And I thought in Ouendan you could send a demo to others?
Those don't look the same as single player to me...
i have no idea if you can save replays or not, but that function does not depend on rom size, its a ROM, you cant write to it.
I stand corrected, although I know you can't get those stories in Ouendan on single-card multiplayer...
more songs, more art, more style, more effects, more of everything....
They hid somewhere the videoclip of Cher's "Believe" encoded in HD quality...
it might be a bigger file but its alot easier than Osu. I already finished EBA in all difficulties yet Im still stuck with the final stage on Osu.
Since nobody else has fielded this question, I guess I will. There are different stories when you play vs. mode multiplayer, however, some songs share the same story.
