ROM Hack Anyone know if the ntr.boot/gateway cheats still work with latest FW update?

It's been asking me to update for about a week or two whenever i boot up my n3ds, but i've held off in case the ntr boot is incompatible, or if the gateway menu cheats wont work either, can anyone confirm or deny if this is the case?

NTR works on 10.7, but with a 9.9/10.2 (o3ds/n3ds) kernel. The firmware pack for Aureinand lets you choose between 10.4 or those!

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what is this thing about NTR and kernel versions? I use the latest version from the GitHub page on my 10.7 emuNAND without any problem, and I didn't change anything...

All CFWs (except the sysnand-only Pasta series, and PBT) don't use the kernel from the dedicated partitions, but load one from SD.

Most recent ones use the 10.4 one but, to support NTR, many also support the one from 10.2 (which currently is the last one that runs NTR). Your guide probably just recommends the 10.2 one for compatibility reason!

I'd just be updating the sysnand I guess, so I can download updates for games while in gateway mode, so i should be okay then Ryccardo?

But you can update your emunand. The gateway cheats should work and for NTR as @Ryccardo said, you have to keep the 10.2 firmware.

I've updated my sysnand while in gateway mode, i was told that's how you safely update your system, i can see nobody understands my question..
