im looking for a eshop game that has a update that will take me from sysnand 8.1 to 9.0 or 9.2?
You can't connect to the eshop if you aren't on the latest firmware though...
So, you'd need a physical game on 9.0. Right?
eshop games dont pack system updates with it
with spoof i should, whats a eshop game that updates?
cant update from a eshop game?
how do i update this 3ds without 3dnus?
Yes can't update with eshop game.
However you can find .cia online that effectively updates your system.
You should only do this if you are on emunand.
And backup first.
did that yesterday and it bricked my o3ds
i have another 3ds now
Cart / ROM update sucks.
They don't upgrade / install any key component such as Internet Browser - the most principle thing you want to obtain from the update.
how am i supposed to get my sysnand on 9.0? its on 8.1 now
Or just do the sysupdater update correctly this time. (rxtools with devmode or pastamode)
i tried to use it in rx mode in booted to sysmode and that app just flashes some quick text on the bottom an closes.
thats why i tried bigbluemenu
I'm sure someone wrote a guide, or is it now obsolete....
I would definitely recommend getting the correct version of smash bros for you.
(and no, the cia/rom will NOT work)
already tried 3 copies, mines (preorder Launch copy) and 2 from a pawn shop. all are rev1
Did you actually read the post I linked you to?
yes i can now tell the difference between the cart vers. mine is AXCE84 REV1
That's the thing. rxMode and Dev Mode are NOT the same. Dev Mode disables some patches which normally would cause a brick if you tried to update.
This is the correct way to update: http://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-u...om-4-1-8-1-to-9-2-0-20-with-pasta-cfw.389187/
Learn to read, you answered your own question. You booted into RXsysnand, not devmode. Thats why you bricked
are you 100% sure ill be ok if i update using that method?
Yes. If you do it properly
no need to be rude. but what is devmode? i own a N3ds and im not too familiar O3ds, im working on this for a friend.
