If you do, then you know that you have to charge its internal button battery about once every month. From what i know, most rechargeable batteries like the ones in cell phones and DS systems will shorten it's life span if you recharge it while it's still half full. Would the internal button battery in the EFA Linker shorten its life if you recharge it while it's still not empty on juice? Cause there's no way to tell the charge level of the battery.

The readme file says to charge it for 8 hours when you first get it. it says that again on the dead website. however long you charge it afterwards is up to you.

The average life of the battery is 2 to 3 years. The exact amount of time is how much your going to use it. This isn't a cell phone so stop comparing to it.
