    and if so has anyone got it to work? it keeps telling me Gamertag not found,except for once where it seemed to have done something but it was for a account i forgot about i just entered anything really and i have no idea which of my profiles it is.

    I entered some spare account I had and got the same message. It's clearly a scam!

    I'm gonna go ahead and close this topic. I'm not 100% sure, but I think there's a good chance this is a phishing scam.
