Hacking Anyone has switched from R4i to Gateway?

I have a 3DS system that I previously used with R4i Deluxe.
How do I delete/uninstall that I installed from R4i Deluxe before I switch to Gateway?
Do I just format SD Card inserted to 3Ds and install Gateway or is there any other thing I need to do?

I am kind of worried that Gateway will confuse the cart as using a clone cart and brick it just because this system was previously used for R4i and have some stuffs left from the previous cart.

You only have to change the Launcher.dat.

The EmuNAND of R4 is compatible with the EmuNAND of Gateway, as well as the saves.
