I was just listening to some Nirvana. It was pretty good, refreshing. Anyone else on GBAtemp like Nirvana? Share your thoughts!

I actually can't stand Nirvana..I don't enjoy the music, and the style of the band never appealed to me..

I believe the entire idea of reaching Nirvana is that it is supposed to be enjoyable. :-P

Was into them back in my early college days, even more so when a friend of mine at SUNY Buffalo worked one of their shows rigging and got me backstage. If you like Nirvana, you really should check out the movie called Last Days by Gus Van Sandt.

Nirvana. You can diss them all you want...Ohh Kurt can't sing...he can't play guitar like a legend...grunge is dirty and stupid etc etc. But you can't change the fact that you might still be listening to 80's electropop made with keytairs instead...ok, maybe not...but close to it punk!

I truely love nirvana. Their albums are incredible in their own context, and also transend their time. Unplugged makes me unplugged (in the pants). Much love to kurt..and Dave Grohl has done great things since.

Ps. Courtney killed him. I'm sure of it.

I like the album Bleach and I used to have some bootlegs of some great demo tapes that they made but the rest of the stuff is just average. Trendy guitar music for trendy metal heads.

Although I still don't get why everyone worships a junkie who was such a halfwit he had to shoot himself TWICE with a shotgun in an attempt to commit suicide. All I can say is it's a shame he bred or he could of got a Darwin Award.

Nirvana is pretty good. Surprisingly my favorite song by them is the one they never finished, You Know You're Right. Dunno why I like it so much, I just do.

It was finished back in 1994. It was just mixed and mastered like ass.

I have been a Nirvana fan since 96. Go to nirvana2.com if you want to discuss them more in detail, or livenirvana.com if you want to talk to people absolutely bonkers about Nirvana bootlegs.

The best thing the band itself got was a demo, before Kurt became an hero

I'm at the home of grunge and well....after hearing the same songs over and over and over again (Foo fighters, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Modest Mouse, etc) because they're locals, you kinda want to blow your OWN brain out... Or just turn off the radio. I'm still on the fence about this one. I mean, I USED to like nirvana, back when I only heard their songs on the radio like once a day. [IMG]
