The first 3 films were great and are classic films. I don't know what happened, but Crystal Skull seemed to miss the ball. 1: aliens were a bit stupid as a plot device 2: the villain wasn't very good 3: the characters (including Indy) seemed a bit dull and weren't directed/written well 4: the beginning scenes were dull and didn't really fit the Indy mood On the positives, I enjoyed Shia (I'm too lazy to figure out his last name), his character, and his fight scenes. I liked the fridge part. I also liked the inclusion of the bunker shown in Raiders (at the end of that one). My favorite part was the quicksand scene. I'm not trying to be biased. I didn't hate the movie and I respect those who DID like it. I originally thought the movie would suck. But then I bought into the hype and expected it to rock (the reviews pointed to it being great). My lower expectations would have made it more enjoyable for me. Anyone else think like me?
