Been a gbatemp user for a while, love the site, love the community, and find it an excellent resource for modding. But lately things have changed, there's ads. I understand ad revenue pays to keep the site running and I'm perfectly ok with that.

But, as of late, any time Im using my mobile phone I get a popup that takes over my webtab, I can't simply hit the back button as it constantly redirects me to the popup unless I close the tab and try again and sure enough it happens 9/10 times I'm on the site. It only happens once I enter a forum area (like switch Homebrew projects or 3ds custom firmware for example) or are actually in a forum. It never does this on the homepage of gbatemp, only in the forum areas. It kind of makes the site unusable on mobile.

Does anyone else experience this? Im curious as to how many people are also dealing with this and if it's a common issue, I think it should be addressed. Again, I don't care for ads, they are necessary to keep the site alive, but when they hijack whatever I'm trying to do on the site and redirects me to a scam, it's pretty annoying.

I’ve gotten a few of these recently. Usually only happens in short bursts, then they are gone. Absolutely hated them when they were around for me.

I have never received a ad popup in all my years using gbatemp. I'm not using adblock either.

I think i may have fixed it, sorry for the late response! Certain games on my modded 3ds were not loading. I switched to a new MicroSD adapter which appears to have helped a little bit, but i am redownloading and installing these new CIA files to see if maybe it was the game file that did not work,,,,i will come back with updates

Does anyone know which one of those picos on Ali Express is the most recommended for OLED switches? I see some that have the dat0 as yellow and some are black but they each have variations I can't seem to find any straightforward current info on them. I'm leaning toward the black picofly with the 4 ground points for stability. But I'm just not sure which model is the n
