And what about the rest of the year? They are hungry and poor and homeless and freezing the entire year through (okay, freezing is seasonal), and all these other people are in their nice warm (or air-conditioned) homes and eating food. Why hate only Christmas because of that? Why not hate the entire year? What about all the people who are alone this xmas? Who are all freezing on the streets and dont have anyone to spend it with? Whilst you've got all these people inside there nice warm homes eating food that these people could only dream about.

2nd worst time of the year
Well of course. If you're not a lucrative market, screw you.Everything is Christmas. Jews? Fuck you. Muslims? Fuck you. Athiests? Fuck you too. Merry Christmas or there's something wrong with you.
You can thank the industry for that. It's always lucrative to commercialize (and milk for all it's worth) the common denominator of the majority of the population, and in the US, it's Christians, i.e. Christmas. So there's an entire Christmas industry, forcing Christmas down your throat and every other orifice (music, decorations, frankincense, cookies, and you dont' want to know about the stuff that goes into the remaining orifices, but trust me, it exists, and it's Christmas related) for as long as they can get away with it. And it seems they can get away with it throughout the entire month of December (with a little warmup mid-November).
QUOTEChristmas to me is a celebration of exclusion.
1) Dont like christmas because Im forced by parents to go to church and to confession, and every one is getting something cool like psp slim or x box as present and I dont (cose my family is poor).
2) Dont like valentines day because I dont have "my other half" (this point I added as a bonus)
Actually, I'll take the 360 please.
I know this is a cliché but Christmas is not about presents! Of course everyone like to receive expensive and cool things but it's that really that important?... Just be happy for being with your family and pass some time with your friends. You'll see that a single day with then it's by far much more important than any PSP slim or xbox that you could received.
Tricky one this. They do go over the top, but part of living in a multicultural society includes accepting the culture of the country you're in. I don't know about the States but recently we're seeing a huge shift in the UK where elements of our own culture and customs are being suppressed so as not to offend residents from other cultures. Which seems a bit hypocritical when not taking offence at the customs of others is the whole point of being multicultural. If I lived in Israel I'd expect to be getting Hanukka "pumped down my throat", it's just the dominant culture of the place I'd be living in. I'm just saying it works both ways, that's all. Opt out in whatever ways you can, and if the people around you don't accept that then they're just idiots.Everything is Christmas. Jews? Fuck you. Muslims? Fuck you. Athiests? Fuck you too. Merry Christmas or there's something wrong with you. Christmas to me is a celebration of exclusion.
Plus, like someone said, this is all a festival about some dude that probably didn't exist.
