Anyone believe that we create our own realities?

See, it's kind of gotten me interested in the Law of Attraction. Despite my HUGE freaking skepticism and everything, maybe there's some truth to it. Who knows, eh? I mean, we can't exactly disprove it, so... no matter how bunk or woo-woo it sounds, maybe there's actual truth to it.

You know the whole thing about parallel universes? That whole theory thing? Well, instead of "choices" that make the universes split, what if it's intention or thought? Now that's a crazy idea. And maybe each "universe" would be unique to each individual. For instance, In your universe, you could get the girl you thought you'd never get, but then you think, "Well, did my interest in her, and my thought that I wanted to be with her happen to attract her? What about free will?" And maybe, where that splits, "universally", she ended up with the person she wanted to be with? Just spitballing shtufff.
I love these theories!

See, that's the real kicker, because it's already proven that time is entirely conceptual and that the idea how it passes will vary from person to person and (theoretically) species to species

So I guess who knows? It could extend to reality in general

Could, yes. Any way of getting our little human brains around it other than running with theories that make sense to us individually? I doubt it.

In all seriousness, I do believe we have some effect on our own "reality." It's not a direct effect, but an indirect effect based on our actions, mood, relationships, ect.
Examples, I didn't want to work on the floor today, I woke up feeling sick and was rather stressed. Upon clocking in, I found out I was a Claims Associate today and was going to spend the entire day off the floor in back. Indirectly, I did control this situation through past relationships and I do believe my extreme desire to not be only floor helped sway the situation in my favor.

Right?! - Sorry if that made almost no sense. Had some to drink and I'm not the most articulate drunk LOL.

But it's like,

Person A: "I want to be with THIS person. but they like someone else (Person C)."
*Person A ends up with that person, Person C is sad*

... but in Person C's universe, they end up with that person

So everyone is happy in their own reality...

Drinking does tend to make people a lot more open to extra theories on philosophy. I guess that extends to reality, and perception there of in your case. ;)

Another thing I remember, like, I was headed to barns and noble and thought, "man, I haven't seen X in such amount of time... Maybe I should text them... it's been a long time"...

I went to B&N, and as I was walking, they just HAPPENED to look away from the isle of books and at me, during the SPLIT second I was walking (I'm a fast walker), and they called my name. - They lived out of state at this point, and were just visiting for that day.

It's insane!

Deciding the future isn't so bad as trying to imagine what came before literally "nothing"

I feel the same when I try to get my head around the idea of literally infinite space. No start, no end. Thus where I write off the limitation of the human mind, and try to distract myself with something shiny. :-P

Oh, I completely forgot something.
Whenever I'm playing a difficult game, I usually say "I will get past this" or something similar repeatedly and then I actually do get past whatever it was. Is this even more evidence?

this is how i have felt for quite a while, are there any books on the subject do you know?
There are quite a few, actually! Some that come across more legitimate than others which just sound like a sale's pitch, but I'll list some...

The Secret (Book, Movie, Netflix)
What the Bleep do We Know (Movie, Netflix)
E-Squared (Book)
The Self-Aware Universe (Book) - written buy a very smart dude. Has his PhD, takes a LOT from Quantum Mechanics to explain his reasonings

And MUCH more. Again. Some, I'm sure are just losers trying to make money by creating "feel-good" books/movies, but others, I'm sure, have legitimate purpose.

Dr. Joe Dispenza is a very smart dude on YouTube, who's been on Ted Talk, and has many certificates in Neuroscience subjects, and began believing this stuff. It's crazy!

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

What about people who are miserable?
Did they make this reality where they feel such a way? Or is it merely in our own universe that we see these people as miserable?
Well, this whole "universe thing" is just a thought on my part, but, in "their" universe, I'm sure they're attracting all the shit they want and they're super happy. So it's person/universe-dependent, yeah?

Also the whole "fine-tune argument" kind of makes me believe in this stuff, even though it's not directly correlated.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

And in my opinion, I've found things happen more when I expect it to happen, or when I feel good about something. So maybe worrying that something bad will happen would cause that bad thing to happen, whereas, saying positive affirmations and (bear with me here... It'll come across... you know...) having faith that something will happen, will cause those things to happen? Just a thought.

Wouldn't it be awesome if I won the lottery (jackpot).

Well I've thought it; now all I have to do is wait. How long are these things supposed to take?

I guess the way I've always tried to get around that limitation is imagining both space and time as a "giant linear circle," if that makes sense. Although that's probably super far off from how it actually works

Hahaha!
That made me laugh. Have a like.

Well, I was reading something lately about a dude who one a million bucks and knew he would ahead of time, and really believed he would.

He also acted as if he already had it, so maybe that'd attract something into existance if this is all true?

Yea, I have tried to wrap my head around it using a similar mindset, but then I stumble. Basically as soon as I think I have a grip on it, I realize to get my head around it, I have to limit infinity. Which clearly implies that I don't have my head around it. Was always kind of my problem with religions having such a clear definition of god. (No I am not looking to debate theology, just making a connection. :P) Defining an all powerful being would limit it, and thus be incorrect.
