It accepts HDMI input from other devices, so it can be used as a standalone projector.
One thing to note is that portable projectors almost never come with native 1920 x 1080 resolution output. Usually it can accept FHD input, but will provide a massively downscaled output. Lots of projectors have misleading ads that say they "support full 1080p resolution" but what they actually mean is that they support devices up to 1080p but will actually output somewhere between 240 x 135 to 640 x 360. Note that the spec page does not mention native output resolution at all, and from past experience I can say that a projector that size definitely won't have full 1080p output. Coupled with the low 200 lumen light, you'll be having a really hard time seeing what's displayed.
