I've made not a few frineds with people on forums, including this one.

"Karma" = "Universal law of action and reaction".

I've made some friends here that are definitely in my karmic group, regardless of what they do or don't think about this. There are several types of karma, the following being the most kinds of karma that goes into our "karmic account".

1) Ego-karma.

2) Poly-karma (a.k.a. group karma).

and

3) Mega-fraternal-karma (a.k.a. universal karma).

An odd instance of this here on GBATEMP is having run into a former friend that is here on GBATEMP who I used to know on another forum THAT I HAVE NEVER HEARD FROM OR ADDRESSED IN A PERIOD OF ALMOST 2 DECADES. However, I've met new people here that we just slipped into a great friendship that only took a couple of posts to realize. I will not name ANYONE as this kind of thing can be very touchy with people, or just plain bullshit to others.

Now, this is totally by accident but is not an "accident". It's just running into people that are in our karmic circles even though I've never met this person in, well, person.

Not trying to be religious, spiritual or otherwise, but I'm certainly not the only person who has experienced this kind of shit.

Anyway , chime in and open up if you like, it's a curious subject no doubt!

I don't think I fully understand this thread. But I have noticed there are some regulars here that stand out above the majority here with brimming personalities that definitely stand out from the majority, and I'd like to think I'm one of them. I hate blending in, and I admit I like attention at times. But with all that, I can only speak for myself. I like getting to know everyone, but the "memorable" people who stand out more (User name with thought put behind it, a memorable profile pic, fleshed out profile, signature, personality, frequent poster around the forums, etc.) definitely leave more of an impression on me than users with strange and forgettable usernames.

I can't agree with you more. But the people here are there on GBAtemp for a reason, and I know a lot of people who have the same interests/hobbies as I do, and I love to share what I know about them.

Don't think what you're experiencing is karma, but instead just the fact of life that people who share the same interests and hobbies are going to partake in that hobby, and will naturally gravitate towards the places where they can actually do so.

So if you liked, say the PSP 20 years, and you went to places where people discussed the PSP at that time, chances are high you're going to see at least some of the same faces talk about the PSP 20 years later in other places where you want to do the same, too.

Same reason why the chances of meeting other baseball fans is highest at a baseball game or a baseball club.

made enchiladas tonight. came out decent. Not the best I've made, and half of the tortillas split open because I didn't warm them first smh, and I used jarred sauce rather than making my own. Still tasty though

Was this employed jarred or unemployed jarred

Coax wire today is much better (RG6) than old school coax (RG58/59). Newer wire more expensive than the older wire.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
You can buy it at any length @homedepot wire cutting area cheaper than buying preformed cable, but you have to put on your own ends/ connectors.
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
I still like DTV but the wire wasn't long enough to reach the window still pick up 40 channels

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea me too, esp for local news, sports, or channel surfing. I get like 60 channels but there's like 15 shopping networks, and bunch other bs, religion, Hispanic, etc. I went thru and blocked most those on tv channel settings.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is 1 Hispanic channel I kept, sometimes they have soap operas on it, w scandalous clothed hotties, I just beat mute it.
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
Ah yes the Juan channel order 15 pairs of feet
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
I got this antenna but the damn thing has usb power right next to the coax plug and you can't actually extend it without usb extension the Pic makes the cable look longer than it actually is https://a.co/d/501IQf2
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Use a old phone/ USB charger block thing, plug into wall instead of tv usb. Use cheap extension cord if need.
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
You still need usb extension because coax end cord is the same length
