Any word yet on whether NTSC SSBB runs successfully on wiikey?

I'm debating whether to go at midnight tonight or not to pick it up, but it would be a terrible waste to buy it only to find ut that the problem some had with the JAP version exists within the NTSC version. And since wiikey never released an update, I am sort of lost on the whole situation. Anyone know if someone has gotten ahold of NTSC and tested?

    Thanks alot for any help.

Sadly it doesn't work on Wiikey, and no one (as far I as I know) has backed it up successfully, xiaNiax has stated however on Wiinewz' forum that an update is in the works (3 decades 'til update...).

Funny, WiiKey is going to lower sales of Smash Bros in two ways: those who are just going to get a copy online, and those that would have purchased the game, but will wait for the release now that they cannot play the original on their WiiKey.

No. One of those two types of people never intended on paying for it and are downloading it because they can, while the other type WOULD'VE bought the game if it worked, but legit copies don't work and only backups do.

    No that's two ways.

One way is from lost sales of people who would never have bought it in the first place

The second way is from lost sales of people who WOULD have bought in the first place but now can't cause it can't run originals.

    no it is two ways.
    1. Pirates who never intended on buying the game
    2. People that intended to buy the game but can't now because the game won't run if you have a wiikey

EDIT: lol, i'm a slow typer, spikey and renegade beat me.
