No big news, but it is being worked on. For example, they now have basic sound emulation. If you want to try the newest build, just go to their google page and compile yourself the code.

Uhmmm..... i would say it's more important to get the emulator run properly first

I don't believe that there will be a good PSX emulator for the Wii EVER. If there would be good version of WiiSX (full speed, good framerate, save support) by the time of christmas 2009 it would really surprise me.

Even the Dreamcast can run some PSX Games and the PSP does it perfect.
Its just an machine with 33Mhz and 3MB total RAM.

It doesn't really matter what emulates it well and what doesn't, all we know is that the wii has the capabilities to do so, and that it might or might not depending on the programmers.
