Does anybody know a way to pass the Download limit on MegaUpload? I am tired of it screwing me over with files. I download something, and it freezes or crashes due to crappy server errors and it makes me wait for another hour to try again, and same thing happens.

Sorry if this is against the rules if it is this topic can be locked or removed. I read over them and did not see that this violates the ToC but I may have missed it.

Use proxy sites, just google proxy site and take one, download the file you want, then go back and take another proxy site, and download another file [IMG]

Buy an account if you really want to bypass the limits. Otherwise just use JDownloader. It won't bypass the limits but it'll regulate all your downloads. Essentially you just copy all the links, make sure they're in JDownloader, Click Start and go masturbate for a couple of hours while it downloads all your files.

    EDIT: Typo.

0_o that's a pretty long wanking session, but it might indeed be less of an effort than using proxy sites, thanks for the idea Guild! [IMG] (even though I wasn't the one looking for help XD)

Download all you want, unplug router, clear your browser's cookies, wait five minutes, plug back in, download some more.

Find someone who has a premium account, befriend them, and have them share it with you.

If you're going to pay for downloading you might want to consider Usenet access instead.

I have an account I am willing to share.

However, I must have your word that you will share it with nobody else and that you will not upload ANYTHING to the account without my consent.

Didn't they have something call happy hour? A certain time period per day where there is no limit.

I had a friend of a friends account that I used to use... it really came in handy. I couldn't get proxy sites to work, and something about my IP being dynamic and not static or something along those lines didn't make things any better when I unplugged it.

    There's no way that's real...

Also, download limits? Whenever I download PSP iso's that are in multiple archives, I always start one, as soon as it's done, start another. I don't have none of that "wait 15 minutes" or whatever it is crap.

If you're asking if there's some magical way to make the limits not work, no. They're server-side, not client-side.

k, since its been a little over a half hour, and this post will be merged more than likely, I thought I would post my pictures, to save bandwidth I packed them in a 7z archive, here they are.

    edit: nvm, no merge.

edit2: forgot to mention, it works.. but you can only download one thing at a time, but but there is no wait from what i could see after the first file completed the download.

Don't have chrome installed, I had it on a linux install a few months back, tried it and looked at the add-ons.. didn't see anything special about it.Web of trust blocks the ads so I didn't actually set the option in abp on the pop up. I rarely use mega honestly, but I have come across moment's where there the only places I can find what I was looking for.

As for jdownloader, idk never used it the only thing i used to use that was similar was flashget. When I installed it, nothing went haywire, and there has literally been no ad's in my browser thus far.Avira hasn't went off either so that's all well and good!

I went back to mega's site and looked around, "megaworld" was right there on the bottom right hand side so that puts the final nail in and coffin of doubt [IMG]

btw, no comments on my wallpaper? [IMG] ... Nah just messing! [IMG]
