you cant play "burned" discs on a softmodded console.

the only chance you got is to find someone who sends you a prehacked memory card for a game you own. like twilight princess or smash brothers melee or bmx xxx..
that way you can run swiss for example.

BUT you still need a gecko sd (on ebay for like 4 $ you can buy one..)

You can use Phantasy Star Online and the Broadband Adapter to load Homebrew / game loaders on the Gamecube, better solutions exist now though, however it still gets the job done.

Thanks I had been reading.. Apparently it's just a pass through device... I could use a bad fake memory card and a SD to. Micro ad adapter and solder it. Together

BTW, how do you open Swiss then? You need a game to boot it? Or the GameCube reads the MC card like free MC boot on the ps2?

You need a hacked memory card(you can do that using a wii), an exploit game(I used 007 Agent under fire), and an SD adapter.
You hack the memory card using the wii, you launch the game, the game loads swiss and then the SD adapter(that is plugged into slot b) contains the game iso

I think Swiss enables burned discs, except that Nintendo didn't adjust the laser to read them reliably.

Youll still need to tweak the pot. Buy an sd media launcher. Theyre around $20
