I have been trying to use NesDS for Moonshell 2.0 with my Acekard 2i and the games run fine, although when I try to save state it gives me a crash dump and freezes, I tried patching nesdsnes.nds ext file with the acekard 2i dldi patch and no luck, is there a certain folder I need to make or am I just wasting my time and need to try a different approach?

Ok I decided to give up on moonshell lol, ugly start up and not worth the hassle. So I downloaded the nesDS mod version with the hotkeys so I can save state and return to list of games without powering off my ds, loading with akaio and it works great. However, games like Punch out look hideous and are unplayable (in the actual ring, not just the words or title screen) I googled and found a version that adds more mappers and it looks perfect, but now I lost the hotkeys with this version and can't even soft reset back into Akaio with the button combination or get back to the list of games... sigh, any solutions?
