Hardware Any way to Identify which MOD a Wii has?

I know of someone who's selling a MODed Wii, but he doesn't know since he just picked it up in Hong Kong and is selling it as is. Is there any way of finding out which one it is without busting the damned thing open?

maybe try to run setup discs in it i'm guessing

or best way would be to actualy open up you wii case

you can then see if have a clone wiikey or real or another modchip other then wiikey versions

to open your console you will need a tri-wing screw driver
