So I tried formatting my Wii's memory to get rid of them, but it didn't work, all it did was leave them there.

Does anyone know if there is a fix yet?

I'm preety surprised that formatting the memory does not erase those channels...
Isn't this a way for Nintendo to spot modded wii's ?
I guess that a firmware upgrade can check which channels are loaded , and if duplicate channels are there, It can just block access to the wii menu ( or to the disc channel ... )
