What's the point without Virtual Console? Just buy physical games for now.

you want the dlc u have to update they changed the eshop policy back. otherwise wait it out and see if anything comes from the SDK. the current BOTW DLC isn't worth it anyway IMO.

I just want a flashcard solution for the Switch, even if it means using some stupid imaging flasher like Sky3DS started out with to mimic ROM chips.

I thought it ended up being a really bad idea to use a flashcart because it would kill your 3DS? or maybe that was just exaggeration from software hack elitists?

If you're referring to Gateway bricking systems, that's not an issue with flashcards in general; just that one implementation.

Pretty sure no one claims *all* flashcards "kill systems".

That never wouldn't have happened if Supercard decided to make their own implementation... not copy GW.

So if Microsoft decided that they have the right to wipe your hard drive if they detect you have a pirated copy of Windows, you'd be fine with that?

(The "anti-piracy" code did hit original Gateway users, too. https://gbatemp.net/threads/warning-gateway-team-bricks-card-on-purpose.360568/)

That was a bug, but you're right, it's bullshit. Though it's not fair to compare it to wiping your hard drive, it would be more like wiping system32. All your personal data (save files) are still there.

So whatever Nintendo patched is of no used to anyone but hackers, correct? so Pegaswitch is more important for people like us rather than whatever Nintendo patched in 2.1?

I just got tired and updated to 3.0 yesterday cause i wanted the BOTW DLC and play Arms, soon Splatoon 2, Sonic Mania and another reason i did it is cause it will get hacked eventually and when Vita, 3ds, and Wii U were fully hacked, they were mainly hacked on the latest firmware and not on lower, whenever the hackers hack em fully, they always tell us to update to the latest firmware, so whatever, plus Implosion is an amazing game for 11.99.
