Well i thaught because some sources sayed there might still come a new M33 later "lets wait a little" but now i am getting more and more annoyed that i cannot play so much games without that fixing method for 5.00 and if there really is no new m33 in sight i think i will just update to the GEN version oO

just want to know if there is still hope for a new M33 or not ?

Dark Alex has abandoned us...

There MAY be a new m33 if there's something worth updating for in a new ofw, IMO. But currently the newer ofws aren't very impressive...

The only reason for M33 - is the memory stick speed up. Gen plays .cso files slower than M33 with the option turned on.

If Gen add this feature then I will upgrade (again) and stay there this time

Actually GEN is faster.
I went onto 5.00 M33 yesterday, and its slower than GEN.

Actually playing .ISO files seems to be the same but .CSO files seem to run a wee bit slower than M33, nothing really noticeable, just some extra loading time (like 1-1/2 seconds)

GEN is NOT faster than M33. That's total fictional rubbish. At least if you're going to make something up make it credible...there's facts and figures about MS access speeds in the 5.00M33-6 update so documented read speeds >>> just saying GEN is better.

It remains to be seen if GEN have it in them to make a new firmware based on a different kernel. GEN is based on DAX's work...if he's not around and they have no one to borrow from it could be a while before a proper firmware surfaces. Like it or not the team behind GEN is nowhere near as capable as the M33 group.

So, this means why they are still in the 5.50 iterations of their CF and no 6.00 ver?

Also, I'll stay with my M33 CF, everything works ok and with the eboot exchanger v2.6 I can change the eboot from my PSP and no need of other method.

Dude don't wait for another M33, who knows when that will come out..

Just upgrade to GEN, its worth it in the long run, M33 may be better, but its better to just update and save time wasted for all that patching.

Trust me, you won't regret it, just back up your firmware with Hellcatz and go back to M33 when it comes outt

GEN-D and GEN-D-2 have on the fly decryption not GEN-B.
other wise you need to patch them.
I bet he mistook it for 5.03 GEN-B which can...
