Hacking Any reason to update SX EmuNAND 6.2.0 to 7.0.1 if all I'd use it for is homebrew/emulation?

First off, I generally have stopped using SX EmuNAND because when Atmosphere supported the latest FW (prior to 8.0), I'd simply run that for my homebrew and emulation so I wouldn't have to go back and forth between FWs. But now that I want to update my SysNAND to 8.0 (from 7.0.1), my option to keep having homebrew access for the time being is via EmuNAND, which is currently loaded with FW 6.2.0. Were there any advancements to homebrew/emulation that requires 7.0.1? And if I would update my SX EmuNAND, can I simply create a new one (hidden), or should I delete my current EmuNAND first (also hidden) to avoid any potential issues?
