Last time I checked (10 years ago) the 360 pad security authentication was not fully cracked. I have some old papers on it and how it was done but was not complete. From what I recall the controller ,when attached to the console, does some hand shaking. The workaround was to attached a 360, then use a HID controller with the right product ID. So what I'm wondering, and google is not helping, is has there been any new progress since there are so many projects out there now; Titan one, cronusmac, mayflash nx, etc..
