I fancy starting pokemon right from the beginning!

Would like to use Lameboy if it plays without problems.

Also what about a Goomba GBA version? I have a EZflash 3in1.

Works fine as far as I know. I have only played a little so I know it starts up. Do you have the latest version of lameboy I think it is .12. Never used the gba emulator because lameboy has high compatability.

There are no problems except for in Yellow-- Pikachu's ultra compressed sound bites don't work. They don't work in other emulators either but still. (PC ones too like VBA)

Red, Blue and Yellow don't even have time of day features. I think Gold and Silver did. Either way, Lameboy supports the real-time clock using the DS's internal clock, so there's no problems. Make sure you get version 0.12, which fixes Super Game Boy mode for Red and Blue (and probably Yellow, since that's a dual SGB/CGB game IIRC; not sure about Gold or Silver).

I don't think there is anything for me to say to help you anymore. My only message is...

I applaud you for playing the best of the Pokemon game series. I will leave you to feel the nostalgia.
