Any Problems With Kingston 1 GIG Taiwan?

i have done some reading and from what i gather, POR is the only problem. i had ordered the media from sky2k.com under the assumption that the *made in japan* advertising on their site was correct. they shipped me Taiwan. should i send it back? or is the Taiwan version ok?

Slowdowns in Tony Hawk games, and possibly higher loading times in others. If those games mentioned don't worry you, you shouldn't need to bother sending it in.

if there's a higher loading time, its too little of a difference to notice...i use both japan and taiwan daily, without feeling the difference. i never play POR or tony hawk though...

I bought Photofast 1gb an unknown brand that was stated to be high speed (measured on hdtach to be 7.9mb/s). no problems with POR or Tony Hawk downhill/sk8land

Better check the speed of the kingston first

POR is fickle if you havent crashed on it, you will eventually. games load slightly slower (metroid prime, animal crossing). fail to load white screens sometimes.
