Hacking Any possible way to run 9.2 games on 4.5 3ds?

I just used the 4.5 palentine CFW and finished playing all unavailable titles of 3ds in my country, but now I want to play 9.2 games, any possibility for it? Using emunand or a way to update the firmware.

why not updating your 3DS to 9.2?
9.2 is fully hackable like 4.5 and the CFW (RxPasta, RxTools, ReiNand, CakesCFW) are much more stable than Palantine.

You would have to make an emuNAND, install something like RxTools CFW, update your emuNAND, profit. That way your actual firm isn't compromised, and you have access to the E-Shop and any game you want, that's what I would do

Since you have Palantine CFW, you might be able to upgrade to rxtools, with rxtools you have the possibility to play games above the 9.2 limitations.

Stay on 4.5 and get the gateway files and make an emunand, update your emunand (be sure you are in emunand) to 10.1
Install a CFW (Cakes/rxTools/Pasta) and play almost all games

option 2 (9.2.1.0-20x):
Get the gateway files and make an emunand, update your emunand (be sure you are in emunand) to 10.1
Install a CFW rxTools preffered for sysupdater, after that install a cia installer (CIA preffered but BBM will do it also)
Update your sysnand in rxTools DEVMODE only with sysupdater and the proper obtained 9.2.0.20x cia files for your region on that iso site
Keep rxTools or install another CFW (Cakes/Pasta/rxTools) play almost all games

But there's no reason to stay on 4.5, on 9.2 you can also use MSET after downgrading it and use all other hacks
need eshop acces in sysnand, use a fw spoofer to do so! or use your 10.1 emunand.

I'm using PastaCFW (Firmware 9.2) on my SysNAND (N3DS) since months
Never had problems with it. Be sure to not install any stuff to NAND, only to SD!

If you use it correct (preffered in rxTools DEVMODE), you always have to take caution when doing stuff in sysnand

Yes, you can install an emuNAND through the Gateway browser, and after you get RxTools set up and you're ready to boot into your newly made emuNAND you can then proceed to unlink your NANDS, and finally update your emuNAND.

just to answer your question, you can patch cia's for fw spoof, but not all games work, game update / encryption is a big factor.

anyway, as mentioned by the others. your best bet is to update to 9.2

from your current fw. I suggest you get emunand to 9.2 (or even higher) if you have o3ds, the cfw to use is rxtools,

get the latest nightlies, grab the necessary files (slotkeyx, firmware.bin) to their specific folder.
install mset 4x for rxtools, and you're good to go.


another way is to update your sysnand to 9.2, get themehax and rxtools should launch from coldboot.

You can use your Palantine emuNAND with rxTools if you don't want to lose your installed games/saves, but you have to convert it from redNAND format to Gateway format, which is basically the reverse of the process you did to convert it when you first installed Palantine.

You don't need to update your sysNAND though, the main benefit of updating is the ability to autoboot CFW with themehax, which is just a lot more convenient than the DS Profile exploit.

Well, rxTools has its own browser based launcher, or you can boot HBL through browserhax and load rxTools or another CFW from that.
