Need to backup EEPROM saves and it's I'm at my wits end trying to figure this crap out. I can dump my own Roms and everything just can't backup my EEPROM saves... Why does nintendo make it s hard to be legit with this crap?

Try out Chishm's save manager: http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/SendSave/index.html (Scroll down to "GBA Game Save Backup Utility") It's the best tool for backing up GBA saves from real carts...

That's cart_save.gba correct? yeah it works with all my Carts except the EEPROM ones. It recognizes it but it just will not save it to my freaking cart. THe only one I know that will work is the GBA Backup Tool .21 by Rudolph but from what I've read he had some bitchy crap with Teeam M3 and made his things not work on M3 hardware. I managed to get this working on the G6 lite but since its a slot 2 one it won't write to it. *sigh*

You’re in the same boat as me, ive tried just about every method of backing up EEPROM saves and not had much luck at all.

I believe GBA Backup Tool .21 would do the job with ease, although like you I’ve just found out its blocked from working on M3 cards for some stupid reason

Version 0.1 worked perfectly for me on the M3 Real, although it doesn’t support EEPROM saves which 0.21 does.

If you have any luck with a different method please do message me and let me know
