I've seen it on ThinkGeek, and it intrigues me greatly. However. The helicopter itself is $20. The shipping is $40. Crap.

So, would you happen to know any other place to get this? Hobby shops? Toy stores? Anywhere?

Although it wouldn't surprise me if ThinkGeek were the exclusive distributor.

Keep in mind that Veho is in Crotia so thinkgeek probably has far higher shipping prices for there than the US.

Yes. ThinkGeek is a US company. It's $25 to France and the UK, for example, and $6 upwards inside the US.

These things are crap.
Got two of them myself and they don't really fly well.

And if they fly (the first one didn't fly soo well but the other one did ... for a while. ) they stop working after some use. (like 4battery charges.)

The Idea was great. :\

In fact, I don't think I even rickrolled outside of a previously rickrolled thread (could be wrong though)

Anyways, I only did it for two days, and I did it in bulk to piss everyone off

Yeah these are crap. If you are willing to spend that much on like an hour's worth of entertainment then it would suit you... You have to calibrate them so they fly straight and even then you gotta be a master at the controls in order to prevent it from crashing at least once a minute. Then after you crash it screws up the calibration so you have to spend a few more minutes trying to get it right again. Ad infinitum...
