Any one else disappointed about Pokemon go?

Nothing. I just been suspecting that certian people have been picking on me lately on VIA YouTube indirectly on YouTube Commentary. Been trying to ignore it but I know someone has been watching me closely VIA GBATemp o_o

It's a long story, and it would not make much sense. Youtuber named Spacehamster seems to be mentioning me indirectly in some videos... Most of the things he says seems to come from this forum apparently from the things I say so it's kind of creepy thinking about it.

I like it, but the only things that is really dissapointing that it need really good wifi, and most of the time it doesn't work. I can't catch pokemon or collect from pokestops with my wifi.

Well, to be honnest I was hyped for Pokemon Go since day one. Really. Even if it was a pay-to-win etc it was epic.
And now, i don't play it anymore... I'm living in a so bad aera that i CAN'T find anything. 0 gym, 0 pokemon NOTHING. And even where I work just found a Weedle... wow...

And meanwhile, i've discovered a REAL Pokémon GPS Game (with Shiny etc) so Pokemon Go is really something i'll forget.

This happens on some iOS devices

To play the game you need to sign in with an existing account from either Google or Pokemon Online. The second one is not accepting new signups so people are forced to use their Google accounts.

The thing is, when registering, you see this:
Pokemon Go has full access to your Google account
Meaning that Pokémon go is able to read all your email and send emails as you, full control on your Google Drive, full control on your search history, full access to Google Photo and so on.
They aren't obviously looking to steal all your data, but this is too careless.

I was somewhat hyped about that game but as of now it lacks a few features it must have for me- offline mode- batteping and traveling with no use of the pricy internet for mobile phones and some dont need it cause they are the only pokego players in 50 km radius....
another thing is ablity to transfer pokemons from main series to pokemon go and back... if not that then whats the point anyway?
and ability to play from the comfort of the home.... I can barely go outside due to high temp. (~35 cel) and am lazy... need "home mode"...

So I am a beta tester for Pokémon go and my time with the app has left me really disappointed and here's why.

1. It's not a Pokémon game at best it is ingress with a Pokémon skin at worst it is a cash ploy
2. The capture system is really bad I mean if they wanted to replicate the feel of capturing a Pokemon in real life then they are way off as even when you hit them spot on with the ball more often than not if will not comince the capture sequence and you end up wasting pokeballs

There you go two quick reasons as too why I found Pokémon go disappointed I would like some to hear your opinions too If you have played as well.

I have been playing soooo much of it for the past 3 days, but what disappoints me are small things. I'm disappointed that, since I don't live in the suburbs, I cant really walk down my street lookin for pokemon, so I have to use my yard (Which is fairly big, about 3 acres) but still, I catch a lot less pokemon in my yard than in a suburb. ALso, for whatever reason, I spent an hour at a big park walking around looking for pokemon and I found 4. Earlier, I spent 30 minutes sitting down at a Mexican restraint and caught 7 pokemon...What the heck?

Nope completely normal, and I saw it coming.

Sometimes people tend to "overhype" games more than they need to be. So a game with a sucky combat system could just show some epic killing montages, with epic music, sound effects, etc... Similar to some games that may have sucked, but had a good E3 Presentation but were absolutely horrible.

GPSMonsterScouter, don't need a strong internet connexion (just a working gps), don't drain battery etc, really addicted.

But well, i'm gonna give a second chance at pokemon go once my friend will have downloaded it... We will see
