That was my point, since internet wifi is a thing, link cables are useless and online trading is possible.

Also if i was wrong then i am glad, it just means i like it even less that they don't have a pokemon game with all the pokemon in it. But to be honest i don't much like trading, to be honest i dunno how others feel about trading, but you got people out there who wanna trade for pokemon they cannot get in the game they have, but what kind of pokemon they want? Probably your legendar or any one time only pokemon like even in gold and silver. One time starter? Of all the other pokemon for random encounters they want to have "THAT" one pokemon you can't get again unless you reset the game and start over making it possible again. Since when did pokemone became about sacrifices?
I dunno, pokemon is a well crafted RPG game for kids, it reminds me of dragon warrior monsters, when you can capture and train monsters to fight instead of the characters fight but "Gotta catch em all" Games are widely popular for some reason, I dunno why, It seem more like a hobby for collection enthusaist or completionist.
Battling developes trust, as in team work, trainer guides pokemon to do their best and win victories and evolve, would you listen to someone you cannot trust? Probably why some pokemon disobey trainers, cause of trust issues.
You need a visit from professor oak or any other NAME BRANDED TREE PROFEESORS OF THE POKEMON WORLD?
