he has the sports games, all his moves could be references to several mario sports games
mario kart
mario golf
mario sports mix
mario tennis
marrios hops 3 on 3
mario olimpic games
etc

he can have a very diverse moveset all based on sports games.

    If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
