All these threads about which memory card to get.
Other than the slowdown in Tony Hawks DJ and random problems with Castlevania POR , i have not currently read of anyone having problems with ANY card !!!!
So why not get the cheapest ?

Has anyone had a microSD that does NOT work with the R4 ?
If so, then leave details here..
