is there any game that teached Japanese on market?
Not that I know of.
I remember reading something recommending buying Japanese RPGs for handhelds (because of the small resolution most of the dialog is quite simple)
and then to just buy a translator book
or get the rosetta stone program
I know, its not on the DS, but I dont think DS is the way to learn japanese.
Rosetta stone doesn't really tech you to read and write Japanese, which is annoying. I have used it before since my Public Library system gives it to use for free on their website (yay!) But I don't use it enough...I would if it taught me to read it...Maybe over the summer I will to get en edge in the Japanese class I'm taking next year
Ahh, thats true. I got a "free copy" as well
So I guess its actually LESS useful than any DS game for learning to R/W japanese...
By the way, Totoro DOES own!!!
There is a homebrew app in development that helps learn Japanese through a flashcard system:
Something to keep an eye on.
thnx guys, i just hoped for a way to learn japanese, i mean a fun way on DS.
Learning languages is (in most cases) never fun! It's fun to use them but to learn... the exception proves the rule
Flashcard systems are bollocks. There, I said it.
Now, if you have a real reason to learn Japanese you should already have an invite to say a site like mixi and be learning by conversing with Japanese people.. oh, you don't have a real reason you say? tough luck.
