Any Idea how to use a....

i need a dvd burner, and i dont know or have the tools to open my PC up and put it in.i looked around for an easier way without opening my PC up and i found this:

if i buy this how do i actually put the burner in?

You open it up and connect the drive on the cables onside the box.
Then screw it back together and plug the beast in your USB port

Inside there will be cable for power and one for the data, you can't really mess it up. To be honest the procedure is exactly the same as installing a drive inside a PC i.e. opening the case up, screw the drive in, connect power cable and data cable and you're done. The only tools you need is a philips screwdriver!

Anyways if that's too complicated then why not just buy a whole external drive premade? e.g. http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/127441

Darkforce is right. Open your pc, pay attention to how the current disc drive is attached and simply replace it.

Installing a dvd drive really is one of the easiest jobs you can do. It will be a good first step in learning how to upgrade your pc

I think he will have to take caution of Master/slave/cable select state of the drive if he install it inside the PC.
