want to use the switch to surf the web and watch videos. they aren't on youtube as they are official videos and not posted on their youtube channel

HOS web browser is really inconvenient to use and lacks most of the basic features of a real web browser, and unfortunately there is no real homebrew alternative that I know of, so personally I use Android when I want to access a fully featured browser (you can set up Android, Atmos and an emuMMC partition on the same SD card quite easily now).

Goldleaf's web browser works pretty well. One of the few reasons I still have it installed, tbh.

Not sure how well it will handle steaming video, but game wiki's work fine. Last used it on 10.0.3, should work on the latest firmware too.

Edit: looking at the description on Goldleaf's github, "Web browser (console's web-applet): Using the console's web applets.." so it's probably the same browser as in the first reply's link. :wink:
