I'm about to buy a wii u pro controller, the seller sent me this pics, I've never seen a label like this so that's why I don't know if it's legit, thanks.

What do you think? or is a good idea to meet him and see if he lets me open the back to see the battery?

I once bought a fake. the dead giveaway was the dpad. it didn't feel right at all. it felt cheap. the box it came in was also smaller than a legit one. I don't know if you can tell by a pic though.

thanks for ur response, the good thing here is I can meet him before I buy, so, the battery can tell me if it's a legit one right? or is there fake batteries that looks just like the original? that would be incredible

don't know about the battery. I've never even seen the battery of the wii u pro controller. I'm not sure if I can pop the back off my controller. the screws look too corroded. it's been used A LOT. I no longer own the fake for comparison anyway. I bought that one off of ebay, and I got a refund for it.

yeah i can't find a screwdriver that small right now, i know the real one has an official nintendo ctr-003 battery in it, but they copied the rest so well i wouldn't be surprised if the battery was a spot on fake too.

The picture is kind of blurry so I can't tell from it, but often fakes have way more blurry text on the label than the original due to them doing a poor job copying the label, which would be easy to tell if you look at it in person. But that's not always the case, some fakes are really good and it's impossible to tell without looking at the internals.

the controller may use triwing screws. Nintendo has been using that since like the GBA days. I think even the switch uses them. you'll probably have to find those screwdrivers online. I bought my triwing screwdrivers off of ebay.

Looks fake to me, the back cover is completely different than mine
The sticker is the same as mine from launch day they changed from white to black stickers mid production.
