I beat Breath Of Fire IV last week. Gorgeous sprite work and great soundtrack. The story seems a bit rushed in some parts but I liked it overall.

Then I remembered I had stopped playing Parasite Eve mid-playthrough and beat it too.

Now I'm trying to figure what to play.
Try Ape Escape, you'll love it!!!

I beat all the DLC for Alan Wake 2, they focus on other characters in the Remedy universe, such as you get to play as Jesse the main character of Control in an episode, and in Lake House you play as Agent Estevez who was also in Control. I really enjoyed these and I was already a huge fan of Alan Wake 2.

I beat Silent Hill 2 remake on PC. It has performance issues and some areas weren't as good as the rest for me, but it was a great experience. I played the original back in 2002 with a friend, but I didn't remember much apart from a few key plot points.

I never played it back in the day, I might try it when I'm done with Silent Hill 3 and 4, thank you.

Just beat SOR4. Fun as hell.

I'm sorry, which game is that? Maybe Streets Of Rage?

Alan Wake 2... I have Alan Wake 1 on the 360. I was really getting into it, and for some reason, I put it down. I cannot recall if it was because I got stuck, or another game came in that I put ahead of AW, or what. I'm glad you mentioned this game JayInem, I'd like to have a go at it again, as soon as I finish Bionic Commando (for the 2nd time).

I liked Alan Wake 1, but to me Alan Wake 2 is far superior. But it may not be for every single person I enjoyed that there was detective work where you find clues, and you can change scenes with writing and using light and dark, you will get lost though because it's meant to be that way, while AW 1 was pretty straight forward for the most part. Some of the DLC though was more like just an action game.

Thank you for that! I'll fire it up soon and see where it takes me.

Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition Switch 9.0/10

I admit to a little bit of shame on this one as I used a level 99 save. It helped a lot but I still had to upgrade weapons armor arts, had to earn money etc.... everything but level up. More than half way through I figured out there was a casual mode I should have just chosen but I didn't want to start over. It's only ever an rpg that I will cheat and the choices are most likely going to be either cheat or never play the game. I actually wouldn't mind replaying it again without cheating and seeing how I do.

Anyway the game is fantastic story gameplay etc.. hard to believe it was a Wii game.

Waitaminute... is it a Wii game or a Switch game? Sorry, I'm a bit lost on that. However...

Dude, your post made me laugh out loud. It's funny, and yes, I know the frustration of having to beat a game, as there are many, many "conundrums". Sometimes you have to cheat, otherwise it just becomes a royal pain in the ass. I think every gamer in this forum has been there. But GOOD FOR YOU!!! Hey man, if that's what it takes, I say throw caution to the wind and let the chips fall where they may. Congrats on playing the whole thing, and when you look back, THIS IS THE EXPERIENCE THAT VIDEO GAMES GIVE TO ALL OF US!!!

Peace out homey!!!

Splatoon (Wii U) for the third time this year. Managed to get a final time of 1:15:47! Utilized the World 4 skip. Should record it next time...
See, a third time? This is the greatness of what have come to be known as VIDEO GAMES!!!

There are quite a few of games that I've played and beaten more than once. The METROID SERIES is definitely right up that ally.
Thanks for sharing and keep pushing those digital boundaries!!!

It was a Wii game then a 3DS game then the Definitive Edition on Switch. I had gotten stuck on the Wii game and was stuck there for many years, I didn't realize at the time I needed to go level up more. I think it was because I was ignoring the side missions which are crucial in this game. Even with level 99 I still had to do a good amount of side missions to be able to beat it because in this game levels aren't everything to make you all powerful.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor PS5 8.6/10

I would have rated it higher above a 9 if not for just some random crashes which should not happen on a console game and some framerate issues. But this game is epic, and I'm not even a Star Wars fan. It just shows with the right team working on a game even with a movie license they can make a great game, which used to rarely ever happen but we got some epic Spider-man and Batman games (not sure if those would be considered movie games or comic book games). Respawn made characters that seem like they are the Star Wars universe to me with great puzzle solving and gameplay. I patiently await the third in a trilogy which will happen.

It looks like you got this game on sale from PS Store? I noticed that they are on sale via Steam store for PC.

Nah I bought a PS5 in January and got it then, disc version. I have a lot of games so I can't get to all of them right away, in fact some take years.
