What about R18 or M bothers you such that you don't want such a game?

I tend to find such things unreliable at the best of times, and outright dissonant between films, TV and games most of the time. Likewise you are apparently in Australia which has an... interesting history when it comes to computer game ratings.

If it is a parental unit thing then so be it, however no sense dismissing a game because one or another things that does not bother you gets the panties of a censor in a bunch so I ask.

Well, his age shows 17. Maybe the stores there (or his parents) are super strict with what you can buy. If that's the case, try Amazon.

The Forza games (I personally played Horizon 3 and Motorsport 5), Need for Speed Rivals, PUBG (although I hear it's laggy unless you have the One X), Rivals of Aether, Fortnite, Street Fighter 4 (technically 360, but back-compatible), Minecraft, and Terraria (better on PC because mods).

Age doesn't matter. I don't like violence, swearing, or any of that.
Violence and swearing aren't exclusive to M-rated games. But honestly, if that is your stance on games you should have bought a Switch instead. It's much more family friendly. With the Xbox One you're pretty much limited to racing and indie games.

Saving up for a switch, but it is expensive here ($450-$600 aus)

Illinois is working to ban toxic food additives that have been banned for decades in other countries; additives that can be replaced and all those countries still have Skittles and Mountain Dew. Title of the piece: GUBMINT WANTS TO TAKE AWAY YOUR CANDY

@Veho, Sounds and smells like bullshit. They don't give you cancer, and California should know that. I don't get why they stick labels that say "may or may not cause reproductive harm or cancer".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Arsenic doesn't give you cancer either.

California has already banned those additives BTW.

Mame should be two sets one for preservation of everything and one set for people who just want to play and enjoy the old old ganes
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Psionic Roshambo, Shouldn't preservation be legal tho?

@Psionic Roshambo, There's a lot of obscure Japanese arcade titles that are either lost to time or dumped.

I mean if a company could use AI to do the work of a home conversion for essentially free why not? The rights for some games are completely lost though
