I know the seedminer method but I really don't want to spend the money. I don't mind if this allows CFW or just the Homebrew Launcher?

NTRBoot but you'll have to have a compatible R4 card and some..... money (dun dun dunnnnn).
Even hardmodding the system would require spending some money to get all the parts needed. If you are not willing to use seedminer then there is NTRBoot, which is what I always recommend. If you don't already have a compatible cart, then you will have to buy one.
Regardless there isn't a free method for 11.8 and incidently enough 11.8 actually updated the TWL firmware to remove the upcoming free expoit for 11.7.

Doesn't seem to be a way for the latest firmware to get access without spending money. And the fact that your probably gonna be using it for piracy, can't spend just a little money? XD

nothing free most you can get for free is base homebrew and upgrade to cfw for $2 usd
I dont hacked my DS, as i bought it there times only for Zelda and Mario the other games was never interessting for me.
But is there a reason why you should not trust Freeshop anymore? I never used it, but i read there times that i would be quiet safe to use it?!

yeah you can bypass this by downloading the cia files from some other site and installing them with fbi

safehax which allowed installing cfw through homebrew launcher was patched in 11.4
