There are some mini games for Wario Ware and a few of the homebrew versions of pong have a multiple person on one DS mode.

Uh... I don't think so, though I suppose you could hotseat some of the minigames.

Age of Empires has a hotseat mode.

Trackmania had a hotseat mode on the PC version, IDK about the DS version though... (which obviously is not out yet)

There aren't very many, though you could sort of invent your own way of doing it with some games.

IDK myself too, try to look at your NDS manual, see the Download Play part, if memory serves there's Super Mario 64 DS and Metroid Prime

I'm too lazy to verify myself [IMG]

    download play != hotseat.
download play=1 person with game sends multiplayer demo of a game to someone with the console but not the game.
hotseat=1 person sends the entire console with game to other person for multiplayer.

It seems you people don't believe me. I've verified it.

Look at page 15 of your NDSLite Instruction Booklet. Under DS Single-Card Download Play section pic 8 & 9.

Pic 8 clearly displays "Download Play: Download Software via Download Play", and it displays Super Mario 64 DS owned by Mr. EAD, another one owned by Brian, and Metroid Prime Hunters by Nicolas .J

Pic 9 displays "Super Mario 64 DS: Scramble to get the stars! The caps will help you out" and a textbox displaying: "Would you like to download the software?"

I've tried to use Single-Card play with my cousin(Worms Open Warfare 2) and brother-in-law(NFS:Pro Street) So I know what the screen looks like.

I've also tried Hotseat game with Age of Empires: Age of Kings, so I actually know what is the meaning of Download Play and Hotseat thedicemaster, thank you very much, your post tells me you don't believe me, but Nintendo tells me otherwise.

If I can transfer files from my Phone to my PC I'd post a pic, alas, i can't so you gotta look for yourself

yes you can use those with download play, but didn't the topic say 2 players on 1 DS?
that can only mean hotseat, or some crappy homebrew where 1 player uses D-pad and the other uses ABXY

Now that's what I call thinking outside the box.

I bet that would be so weird if you were trying it in public. I can just imagine it lol.

Download a nice little homebrew called Marshmallow Duel. One of the best DS homebrews out there for competitive playing.

Basically, two little guys fight eachother on a series of floating platforms. Marshmallow is the quick death for anyone fool enough to get knocked off. A variety of weapons exist in the game, from nets that trap your opponent, electricity to electrify yourself, making you a human weapon, or the gun, which provides a quick death, and many more besides.

Me and my mate do nothing but play this game when he comes over. Really addictive.
    Marshmallow Duel DS

From their website: "So what is Marshmallow Duel? If you've never heard of it before, it could best be explained as a Super Smash Bros. type game, but from an earlier era and stranger minds."
