Any chance we'll be able to run backups of the Kingdom Hearts Cloud ports?

absolutely no chance. as somebody who actually likes KH I hate how lazy they are with this cloud streaming shit. switch could handle all 3 games but they rather be able to Disney vault the games anytime they want

That would require dumping the entire game from the cloud and hoping it works on the system. Chances are, the Switch simply isn't powerful enough to play these games and is just acting as a screen for them instead of putting much processing power into making them work. So even if someone could somehow dump the entire game, it would most likely either not play at all or will play like complete shit.

First of all games on cloud are not even directly compatible with Switch, so your dumping and installing is out of question. They are running it on x86 servers while Switch is ARM. It's not even about the power.

I am not sure how any of that is different from what I literally said outside of additional clarification

You're better off buying it on PC and playing it on the Switch through Moonlight as "backups" will not play it as you need to connect 100% to the server.
